1. EDTAK3 :

K3 EDTA Blood Collection Tube applies inexamination of whole blood. EDTA
K3 binds the calcium ions and therefore bloks the cogulation cascade

2. Clot Activator (Red):

Serum tubes are coated with clot activator on the inner wall of the tubes.
They are used for serum determination in chemistry.
Sample processed in this tubes may be used for routine donor screening and
diagnostic testing of serum for infectious diseases
3. Serum Separation Gel Tubes (Yellow):

SSGT tubes are coated with clot activator and gel for serum separation. They are used
for seru determinations in chemistry and for clinical biochemistry and immunology. The
obvious characteristic of SSGT tube is used to obtain high quality serum specimen for
medical laboratories.
4. Glucose (Grey)

The additive for glucose tubes are sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate or EDTA/sodium
fluoride. These tubes are used for gloucose determination.
5. Heparin (Green)

Heparin tubes are coated with spray-dried lithium heparin. They are used for follecting
blood specimen for biochemistry and some test items in blood rheology
6. Heparin

The anti-coagulants heparin activates anti-thrombins, thus blocking the coagulation
cascade of the blood specimen producing a whole blood/plasma sample instead of
clotted blood plus serum.
7. Coagulation (Blue)

Coagulation tubes are lled with a buffered sodium citrate solution. They are available
with a citrate concentration of 0.109 mol/l (3.2%)
Coagulation tubes are mainly used for examination of coagulation parameters and can
provide an excellent condition for the test of PT, APTT values.
